Impostor syndrome is a common mistake for young entrepreneurs.
As an entrepreneur in residence, Jaden encourages entrepreneurs to get out there and try things and then use their experience as information moving forward.
He encourages asking, “How will I learn this so I can be more qualified?”
Intrinsic motivation in each team member motivates the team to focus on the goal at hand.
Jaden used to be a smart but lazy kid in high school. His turning point was when he lost a wrestling match to someone more talented but way smaller than him. This made him realize he needed to develop talent and it wasn’t going to be given to him.
For productivity, Jaden recommends using a calendar and time blocking.
Jaden also recommends Writing a list of 6 things daily to be completed in chronological order. If he fails to complete one, he will rewrite it the next day.
When forming new habits, try “habit stacking”. A process where you sandwich the new habit between established habits.
Jaden’s Time/Outcome Diagram
Jaden tries to prioritize high outcomes low time, or the highest leverage tasks.
One of Jaden’s big goals is to “Raise the standard of living for as many people as possible”
Reminded me of The Second Law of Spiritual Success, “The Law of Giving”, which states “The more you give, the more you will receive, because you will keep the abundance of the universe circulating in your life” (Chopra 24).
